The range of online brands that are wholly dedicated to organic fabrics and eco-friendly apparel is slowly growing. Many concentrate on the nature impact of clothing manufacture and others have a broader understanding on the human benefits of organic cotton, lenzing modal, hemp and other quality fabrics. Some “go green” with recycled polyester or add a bit of eco-fabrics to the mix.
As usual it’s up to the consumer to decide what’s what. Here’s a shopping guide on ecologic clothing brands that are at least trying!
Rawganique

Threads 4 Thought
Manufacturing in China, Kenya and India and socially responsible “Threads 4 Thought” is big on recycling, especially recycled polyester from used pet bottles. They also mix in organic cotton and Lenzing Modal to their clothes — From womens tops, bottoms, dresses and accessories to mens pants and shirts.
Pantagonia
Pantagonia has a range of products ranging from 100% organic cotton to an organic cotton/polyester/spandex fleece blend. Human friendly both for the wearer with the safe inks and “Fair Trade Certified” sewing practices.
